About This Policy
droidplanet.net is operated by DroidPlanet, an independent developer based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. This page explains how the main website at droidplanet.net and the DroidPlanet support system at support.droidplanet.net handle information, and the terms that apply when you use them.
Our Applications
droidplanet.net is a portal to several separate applications. Each application collects different information (for example, accounts, subscriptions or saved data) and has its own Privacy Policy and Terms. When you use an application, its own policy governs the data you provide inside it.

Information We Collect
The main droidplanet.net website has no accounts, forms or payments, and does not ask you for personal information. We collect only the following:
Server logs
Like most websites, our web server automatically records basic technical information for each request:
- IP address
- Browser type and version, and operating system
- Date and time of access
- Page requested and referring page
These logs are used only for security, troubleshooting and keeping the service running, and are deleted automatically after a limited period.
Support tickets
If you choose to open a support ticket, we collect the information described below.
Cookies & Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as:
- Pages visited and time spent on them
- Approximate geographic region (country or city level)
- Device type, browser and screen size
- How you arrived at the site (for example, a search engine or link)
We use this information only in aggregate for statistics. We do not use it to identify you, and we do not use advertising features or sell data. Google processes this data under its own Privacy Policy.
You can block analytics by declining cookies in your browser, using a content blocker, or installing Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. The site works normally without it.
The support system also uses a session cookie that keeps you signed in. It is required for the support system to work and is not used for tracking.
Support Tickets
support.droidplanet.net is optional and is shared by all DroidPlanet applications. To open a ticket, you create a support account with:
- Name — so we know how to address you
- Email address — to reply to you and notify you of ticket updates
- Password — to protect your ticket history. Passwords are stored as a secure one-way hash; we never see or store your actual password.
We also store the messages and any attachments you send, and the IP address used when you submit them (for security and abuse prevention).
This information is used only to respond to your request. It is never sold, never used for marketing, and never shared with anyone except as described under Sharing. Tickets are kept so we can refer to earlier conversations. You can ask us to delete your support account and tickets at any time.
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We share information only:
- With service providers that run the site for us (web hosting and Google Analytics), who process it on our behalf
- When required by law or legal process
- When necessary to prevent fraud, abuse or security threats
Hosting & International Transfer
droidplanet.net is hosted by Hostinger on servers in the United States, and Google Analytics data is processed by Google, which may include servers outside Canada. Information may therefore be stored and processed in countries whose data protection laws differ from yours. We protect it as described in this policy. See Hostinger's privacy policy for its practices.
Security
All pages are served over HTTPS. Support passwords are hashed, and access to servers and data is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Your Rights
We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Depending on where you live, you may also have rights under other laws such as the EU/UK GDPR. You can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that is inaccurate
- Delete your support account and tickets
- Stop processing your information, where the law allows
Email support@droidplanet.net. We will respond within 30 days. For requests about data inside one of our applications, contact that application directly or email us and we will direct your request. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Children
droidplanet.net is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information through the support system, contact us and we will delete it.
Terms of Use
By using droidplanet.net or support.droidplanet.net, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Each application also has its own Terms, which apply when you use it.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, the support system, or our servers
- Disrupt, overload or damage the service, including through excessive automated requests or scraping
- Submit support tickets containing abusive, unlawful or malicious content, or someone else's personal information without permission
- Impersonate another person when contacting support
We may close support accounts or block access for anyone who violates these terms.
Intellectual property
The DroidPlanet name, logos, website content and software are owned by DroidPlanet and protected by copyright. Other trademarks belong to their respective owners.

We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of websites we link to that are not operated by DroidPlanet.
Disclaimer
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, reliability, availability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DroidPlanet is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or loss of data, arising from your use of this website.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
